  I’m appalled at the disrespect the owner of this shop, Allison Stewart, gave my wife today. My wife chose to meet with a friend at this shop because she enjoys the ability to support local business and has had positive experiences with the employees.
  My wife entered Bedford Hill and sat at a stool before seeing an open table to seat her and her friend. After a moment the owner, Allison, asked my wife if she was going to order or if she waiting for someone. She responded by saying she was going to wait for her companion, who was looking for parking, to arrive and then order. My wife declined to order at the time because she sees it as rude to do so before the person accompanying is seated as well. Allison took note and left. Not too long after Allison targeted my wife once again saying that she needed to get up for others that order to sit down. Allison ignored the fact that there were people who either finished their orders like a father and child just reading a book at the table or just nursing a table like an older lady sitting next to her.
  Upon arriving my wife’s guest saw Allison standing over my wife. Deciding not to stay at a public establishment that made her feel unwelcome she told her friend that they were going to have to find another place to visit. Allison without any regard for respect for two potential customers defended her disgusting display of customer service. She continued to antagonize my wife without apology. It leads to wonder of what made my wife different to be targeted and disregarded as such. The answer is nothing. You do not treat people in such a way. Allison some how thought it was fitting to ignore people completed with their order and single out my wife.
  My wife briefed me on what had happened to her with sadness and confusion in her voice. She that it was a welcoming place but was fooled. I detoured my plans of the day to speak with the MOD to present what poor service from what I thought was a new employee unfamiliar with being a public servant. I was informed that this rude and pompous person was in fact the owner. She began to belittle my wife with lies and gave no apology on her treatment. It is clear to me that her business is saved by the kindness of her employees and not by her practices or character.
  She has continued to offend every time she opens her mouth or responds. She has never attempted to apologize or display the same courtesy her employees have shown before. Allison Stewart is an insulting, disrespectful, being.
