  The only supermarket that makes you check your personal belongings.... if your not the right color. I Made a complaint to the manager and he had the nerve to tell me that "US" women are trouble makers...really is that how you view your female clientele all the mothers and grandmothers aunts and daughters who shop and give you their business....well guess what not this women, an apology for your actions would have been nice. You decided that my husband had to check in his backpack to shop or he wouldn't be let in when I myself was carrying a backpack and nothing was said to me...well it just goes to show you what Food Universe thinks of their black, Latino, and neighborhood customers. You do not treat your customers like you already think they are going to steal from you and ask them to check in their personal belongings. You are doing business in our neighborhood , and FYI I did not see any postings in your supermarket confirming "your policy" . I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere, to a company who respects and appreciates their customers.
